Abigale Lee Miller entered a guilty plea to the felony charge of bankruptcy theft on June 27, 2016. Abigale Lee Miller mother ran a dance academy, which is where Abby Lee Miller received her early training in dance. In the year 1980, when Abigale Lee Miller was just 14 years old, her mom assigned her with the job of choreographing and teaching for one of her mom's dance competition teams. 

Abigale Lee Miller ultimately acquired ownership of the studio in the year 1995 and called it as Reign Dance Productions. She received her certification from Dance Masters of America and became a part of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10 in 1986. However, her participation with Dance Masters of America was cancelled in February 2012. 

She started making appearances on the Lifetime reality television show Dance Moms in the year 2011, after having spent several years working as a dance instructor.
